The people themselves have to fight again to remove the illiteracy of the people, to renew and develop their consciousness. This usually has to be done through certain actions.
If we look at the goals of this movement, it can be understood that the Chinese people have been fighting for freedom and liberty, which is the first step they have taken in the fight against illiteracy. The ideas advanced by the "New Culture Movement" do not completely deny nationality, tradition, or oppose Confucianism. Because it was difficult for the people living in that shell to accept the new ideology. But progress requires new and change, and in order to do so, to a certain extent, old assumptions must be rejected.
In this work, the author compares the life of the people who cultivate silkworms to those "silkworms". Because an old man named Tongbao cultivates silkworms according to the centuries-old methods of his ancestors. But unfortunately, a year's worth of hard work goes in vain. When the old man is suggested to change the method and raise silkworms in a new way, he opposes the idea. Because he is illiterate, he believes in the power of ancient traditions, methods and principles. It was very difficult for him to get out of that cage. Mao Dun invites the Chinese people comparing the people's life to the crawling of "silkworms". He wants to explain to the public that decolonization will have a positive effect on the lives of the silkworms as well as the lives of the people.
The slogans of the "New Culture Movement" were designed to attack obsolescence and create a new culture, and the slogans of the "May 4th Movement" were reinforced. In honor of this historical event, May 4th of every year in the People's Republic of China is widely celebrated as "Youth Day" and "Literature Day" in Taiwan, and it has become a unique tradition. SPIRITUAL VALUES IN MAKHTUMKULI'S POETRY Annotation
Magtymguly Fragi is the pride and glory of Turkmen literature, the national poet of all Turkmens. XVIII century - the century of Magtymguly. Even time, which is capable of snatching much from human memory, is powerless before the greatness of his work. The reason for such popularity lies in the fact that the poet's works do not leave anyone indifferent even today; he attracts millions of readers with his special sincerity, ardent love for the Motherland, for his people. It is read in moments of joy and in moments of sorrow.
