identity. According to Goodman's studies [3, p. 52], interjections in English not only contribute to the expression of emotions, but also to maintaining the structure of communication, influencing the interpretation of the message.
Main part Methodology
For the study, linguistic sources, a corpus of texts including informal dialogues, and audiovisual content materials were analyzed. The sample consisted of 100 examples of the use of interjections, which were classified by type of emotion and context. The analysis was carried out in two directions: determining the frequency of use and their role in communication. Research Results
1. Emotional expression and enhancement of expressiveness. Interjections play a key role in conveying emotions such as surprise ("oh"), joy ("yay"), pain ("ouch"). These elements allow the speaker to add emotional subtext to the utterance.
2. Discourse support function. Interjections such as "uh", "um" act as time markers in conversation, giving the speaker time to think. This helps maintain the structure of the utterance and avoid long pauses.
Examples of the use of interjections
1. Emotional interjections. Interjections such as "wow" and "yikes" express strong feelings, often standing out sharply in speech and enhancing the perception of the situation.
2. Phatic interjections. The words "uh" and "um" are used to maintain the conversation and often have a phatic function, that is, they allow you to maintain the interlocutor's attention during a pause.
Conclusions and further research prospects
Interjections play a significant role in the English language, since they provide emotional richness of speech and maintain its dynamics. Further research can be aimed at studying the regional features of the use of interjections, as well as their role in professional and formal communication. USING DIGITAL MEDIA TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF LEARNING ENGLISH
Abstract:
Modern education is inextricably linked with digital media, which allow students to access a variety of educational resources, improving the quality of learning and the level of language proficiency. To study the impact of digital media on the effectiveness of learning English, to determine their role in the development of language competencies.

Technology development has changed traditional methods of teaching foreign languages. Modern digital media, including mobile applications, online courses and interactive platforms, play an important role in the process of learning English, offering access to unique and interactive resources that help students improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
Literature Review
The use of digital media in learning English is actively researched. The works of Lee and Johnson [1, p. 54] emphasize that digital media improve the perception of new material and activate memory. In the studies of Brown [2, p. 88], it is noted that digital media increase motivation for language learning. Widely recognized research in the field of psychology and education indicates that media environments activate cognitive processes and allow learners to assimilate language material at a deep level [3, p. 47].
Main part
The study is based on data obtained from questionnaires and performance analysis of 200 students who studied English using digital media. The sample was divided into two groups: the first studied with traditional materials, the second - with the help of digital media, including resources such as online platforms, mobile applications and video materials. The results were assessed based on testing, performance monitoring and questionnaire analysis.
Research Results
1. Increased motivation and engagement. 80% of students who studied using digital media noted that such methods caused a greater desire to participate in the learning process and study English independently.
2. Improved cognitive abilities. Digital media not only help students learn new material, but also
consolidate knowledge through interactive tests and practical assignments.
3. Developing language skills. Analysis of test data showed that students in the second group showed higher results in speech comprehension and grammar. Examples of digital media and their use
1. Mobile apps. Apps like Duolingo and Memrise promote gradual and flexible learning through short but regular lessons.
2. Video lessons and online courses. Platforms like Coursera and YouTube provide access to video lessons in English, which helps students develop listening and speaking skills.
Conclusions and Future Research Prospects
Digital media play a key role in the English language learning process because they allow learning to be tailored to students' needs, increase motivation, and make the learning process interesting and engaging. Further research can be aimed at examining the impact of specific types of digital media on various aspects of language competence and at investigating how the integration of digital media affects motivation for long-term language learning.
