Objective of the study was to determine the level of involvement of actors in the physical culture and educational space of a modern university. Methods and structure of the study. The analytical basis of this scientific work is the sociological study "Diagnostics of the management system of the sports and educational space of universities" (2018-2021), which was conducted in the Belgorod, Kursk and Lipetsk regions. The study sample consisted of students (n=1000), university professors and researchers (n=300). Along with the survey, focus group interviews were conducted with teachers and researchers of universities (n=12). Results and conclusions. All actors of the physical culture and educational space of a modern university are characterized by a fairly high level of awareness of the goals of the sports and educational space, which can provide the necessary communication between subjects and form a unified approach to achieve the goals. For teachers and employees, as well as for administrators, it is typical only for occasional involvement in the processes taking place in it; for the majority, the norm is the actual detachment from it when declaring the significance of this activity. Not all teachers and researchers believe that their professional experience and potential in the conditions of the sports and educational space of the university is fully realized. It is concluded that at the moment the level of involvement of students, teachers and researchers cannot be fully recognized as optimal and requires further transformation through the management technologies of the physical culture and educational space of a modern university.

Keywords: sports and educational space, involvement, student youth, teachers, researchers.

Introduction. The physical educational space of a modern university (PhESMU) is a complex of interrelated and interdependent institutions that provide health protection and physical development of the participants in the educational process through physical education and upbringing, but at the same time contains a number of restrictions [2]. The study of the problems of project management in the development of the PhESMU is of great importance for modern Russian society and is determined by the need for scientific substantiation of new promising approaches to managing the development of the PhESMU [1].

Objective of the study was to determine the level of involvement of actors in the physical culture and educational space of a modern university.

Methods and structure of the study. The analytical basis of this scientific work is the sociological study "Diagnostics of the management system of the physical culture and educational space of universities" (2018-2021), which was conducted in the Belgorod, Kursk and Lipetsk regions.

As part of the study, the involvement of two main actors of the physical educational space of a modern university was studied: student youth; teachers and

researchers. The assessment of involvement consisted of: visits to the elective part of the discipline "physical culture"; visits to the sports (gym) hall; participation in sports and educational events; compliance with the standards of the VFSK "GTO" [3].

The study sample consisted of students (n=1000), university professors and researchers (n=300). Along with the survey, focus group interviews were conducted with teachers and researchers of universities (n=12)" [4].

Results of the study and their discussion. An analysis of the results of a sociological study showed that half of the students, namely 51.2%, attend the elective part of the discipline "physical culture" in their free time. In their free time, 63.8% of students go to the gym. 61.2% of students take part in sports and educational activities. However, 18.2% of them note the lack of enthusiasm and interest in competitive activities. 38.8% of students completely try to avoid such events. One of the attractive forms of self-realization in the PhESMU, from the point of view of young people, is the fulfillment of the standards of the VFSK "GTO". More than half of the students (55.7%) took part in this. [3].

Among teachers and researchers, the priority in physical activity is the fulfillment of the standards of the All-Russian Federal Sports Complex "GTO", sports and athletics and visiting the swimming pool. This type of participation of the FOSV is considered by them as an opportunity to acquire new acquaintances, to obtain a certificate of compliance with the standards of the VFSK "GTO".

The involvement of teachers and researchers in the PhESMU is assessed through the implementation of professional experience and contribution to the development of physical culture and educational activities of the university. The study showed that only 27.3% of teachers and researchers believe that their professional experience and potential in the conditions of the sports and educational space of the university is fully realized; 36.7% of respondents evaluate the self-realization of their potential quite effectively. The rest of the respondents believe that their potential in the PhESMU is not sufficiently realized.

Among the respondents who are most satisfied with the effectiveness of the implementation of their professional experience and potential in the conditions of the PhESMU, the age from 41 to 50 years old prevails, and the least - the age of 60 years.

It should be noted that 36.4% of respondents note the importance of working with students as a factor in

effective self-realization in the conditions of the PhESMU.

The significance of their role as an intermediate link between university administration staff, who put forward criteria and parameters for the learning process and students, is recognized by 30.7% of teachers and researchers. At the same time, 42.3% of respondents are under 30 years of age and 60% of respondents are over 60 years of age.

A more active position is taken by 28% of respondents, believing that the role of a teacher and a researcher acts as an initiative link, putting forward goalsetting messages for the development of the sports and educational space of the university. Most of them are middle-aged respondents.

The educational-orientational role, which translates the model of behavior in a number of parameters - personal, pedagogical, medical, psychological and social - is considered the main role by 29% of respondents. 12.3% of respondents found it difficult to answer. Among this group of respondents, 38.2% of respondents are from 51 to 60 years old, as well as 37.5% of respondents from 31 to 40 years old. It should be noted that 36.9% of the respondents, whose activities are related to the organization of physical culture and educational work with students, adhere to the position of the initiative link, another 32.3% of the respondents take the position of the intermediate link. 43.7% of respondents who are not directly related to the organization of the PhESMU consider the educational and orientational role to be the most correct.

Conclusions. The study made it possible to formulate a number of logical conclusions.

First, the peculiarities of students' dispositions are expressed, first of all, in the predominance of formal motivation for inclusion in physical education processes and limited activity. At the same time, there is an underestimation of physical education, combined with giving special importance to the possession of a beautiful figure and physique. Only 35% of students indicate the desire to maintain good health as the main motive for physical education, while 40% show the desire to acquire a beautiful figure.

Secondly, the dispositions of teachers and researchers are characterized by episodic participation in sports and educational events, for them the prevailing norm is the ability to use sports and educational activities in the implementation of their personal and professional qualities, interaction with sports professionals.

Thus, the level of involvement of actors cannot be fully recognized as optimal and requires further transformation through the management of the Physical Educational Space of a modern university. The project management of the PhESMU should be directed "to the realization of specific goals and the solution of specific tasks, the results of which are expressed in terms of time, cost, productivity or quality of result."
