Better Retention and Understanding

Interactive learning experiences help students grasp complex concepts more effectively and retain knowledge longer.

Development of Soft Skills. Gamified activities often encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and problemsolving, preparing students for real-world challenges.

Challenges of Gamification in Education

Overemphasis on Competition. Excessive focus on rewards and rankings may create stress and hinder collaborative learning.

Digital Divide. The lack of access to technological resources in some regions may limit the implementation of gamified learning.

Design Complexity. Effective gamification requires thoughtful design to align with learning objectives, which may demand significant time and resources.

Sustainability of Interest. Gamification may lose its appeal over time if not regularly updated or diversified to maintain learners' interest.

Future Perspectives. Gamification in education is evolving with advancements in artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Future applications may include personalized gamified learning experiences tailored to individual students' needs and preferences. Moreover, research into balancing competition and collaboration in gamification could further enhance its effectiveness.

Conclusion. Gamification represents a significant shift in teaching methodologies, offering innovative ways to engage and motivate learners. While it presents certain challenges, its potential to transform education is undeniable. By incorporating gamified elements into curricula thoughtfully and inclusively, educators can foster a dynamic and effective learning environment. References:

During the Revival of the Epoch of the Powerful State, the scientific and educational system of the country has great development and changes. As a result of the honorable President's unwavering concern, the work being done in the development of this system makes each of us immensely proud. If these conditions are created, we - the youth, increase our desire to study, learn, and create. In this article, we also aimed to study the information about the names of places and countries used in the novel "Dowlet gu§y" which arose from the wisdom of our hero.

There is a special branch of science that studies geographical names. It is called toponymy. Toponymy studies the meaning of geographic names, their etymology, the words of which language they are derived from, the reasons for their appearance, and how those names were susceptible to changes in different periods". [4; 3, p]. Place names (toponymy) are studied in the lexicology department of the language. Let's pay attention to the names of places and countries mentioned in the novel "Dowlet gu§y" by our Hero.

One side is Kopetdag, the other is Koytendag, and the Karakum Desert is like a swing attached to those mountains.[1; 9, p].

Kopetdag - [Kopetda:g] - the northern branch of the Turkmen Khorasan mountains, a mountain that stretches for about 600 km along the Iran-Turkmenistan state border; A settlement named after the mountain in Gokdepe district. The word Kopet probably comes from the Persian words kuhi bet (kuh - "dah"; bet - "bad") and means "bad mountain". Previously, the whole place of this mountain was not named, but each part of it was given a separate name. The popular name of this part of the mountain among the local population is Tangrygargan. The Persians call it Kupet.[3;190, p.].

Koytendag - mountain, valley, village and small river in Lebap province. The name of the first narrow valley, Koyten (Kuhi tang), is derived from the Persian words Kuh - "mountain" and tang (Turkmen equivalent) - "narrow" and describes the geographical feature of the valley very well ("narrow river", "narrow mountain"). Then the horse moves to the river in the valley and the village. By cartographers, the part of the Hissar Mountains in Turkmenistan is also called Koytendag. There is also a narrow valley called Koyten near Magtymguly. Karakum is one of the largest deserts in the world. A.G. Babayev also notes that it is possible that the desert was named Karakum because the sand plants form a dark zone on the horizon.

He was born in 1904 in Yzgant village of Gokdepe district. [1; 173, p.].

Gokdepe [Go:kdepe] - district, village, railway station located in the foothills of Kopetdag; sand in Gorogly etrap; Castles in Bayramaly and Baharly districts. The hills that are visible from a distance are blue-black and smoky, they are called blue hills or black hills. Villages are named after such hills. The ancient fortress named after Gokdepe Etrap is located 10-12 km away from the village. Then the Goats build a big fort near the village, and the name of the former fort is transferred to it.

Yzgant is a village in Gokdepe district. The meaning of the name is unknown. Elders explain this name as "back town" and "back village", that is, because this village is located far away, on the foothills of sand, it was not entitled to 32 km of water from Daman. A man named Kepje Mergen dug a spring from Mount Seran and brought water to this village. They said, "Water would be sugar if it was left behind from the water." That remained the name of the village. But such an explanation is not very convincing. According to ethnographer A. Jykyyev, this name may be a phonetically altered version of the words Oguz city, "village of Oghuz", "country of Oghuz". There are also villages named Izgant in Iran.

In front of the Karakum restaurant - on the level of Tejen city - the Tejen river rises in front. [1; 9, p].

Tejen - district, city, river, railway station. The meaning of this ancient name is not clear. W.W. Bartold

noted that this name appears in the form of Tuzhen in the 10th-11th centuries. G. Wamberi derives this word from the words tey-gend (ie tey-kent, tey - "low", kent - "village", "city") and means "lower city" or "downstream village". writes that it may mean Probably, this idea is correct, because, firstly, there were other names along the river Tejen with the word tey. For example, in the history of Temirle, the village of Teyabad along the Gerirud River is mentioned.

After building a school in the village, he returned from Babarab with his brother specially. [1; 37, p]. Babaarap [Ba:baarap] - 1. Village in Gokdepe etrap; Spring in Serdar etrap (Gochda). They are said to be named after the praiser, but they may also be related to the tire name. Babarab in Gokdepe is also found as a city name at the beginning of the 19th century. 2. Name of the well in Darganata district (Karagum). The name of the well was given, and the well was dug by an Arab man called Baba. With the change of time, the toponymy of that place also changes. Because toponyms are of great scientific and practical importance, it is necessary to study them in depth. Its future study will have a great impact on the enrichment of the vocabulary of the language.

THE IMPORTANCE OF INNOVATIVE METHODS IN LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Abstract

In the modern era, learning foreign languages has become a crucial skill for global communication and professional development. Traditional teaching methods, while effective in some contexts, often fall short in meeting the dynamic needs of today's learners. This article explores the significance of innovative methods in foreign language education, emphasizing their impact on engagement, efficiency, and long-term retention. By integrating technology, gamification, and personalized learning strategies, educators can foster a more effective and enjoyable language acquisition process.

Introduction

Language is a fundamental tool for communication, cultural exchange, and global collaboration. In an increasingly interconnected world, the ability to speak multiple languages has transitioned from a desirable skill to a necessity. Traditional language learning approaches, such as rote memorization and grammar-focused lessons, have limitations in engaging learners and addressing individual needs. Innovative methods are reshaping the field of language education by leveraging technology and modern pedagogical strategies to enhance outcomes.
