The article presents the results of studies conducted on young and adult quail chickens for the inclusion in the drinking water of the additive ";PROPOULplv". The results shows, the positive effect of the additive on the safety of chickens, the intensity of their growth, and the productivity of laying quails. The additive was dissolved in drinking water at 4,6,8 g per liter. For re-search, four groups of quail chickens were formed on the principle of analogs, one control, and three experi-mental. The analysis of the obtained results showed that the highest growth intensity was characterized by chickens of the third and fourth groups. This trend is maintained in terms of the productivity of laying quails. Thus, at the beginning of laying, the quails of the control group were set aside from the experimental ones by 3-4 days and the number of standard eggs of hens of the experimental groups prevailed over the control ones, which was 84.9-85.9 versus 80.6%. The yield of egg mass per laying quail during the experiment was 1.53-1.55 kg.

Abstract.

The article presents the results of studies conducted on young and adult quail chickens for the inclusion in the drinking water of the additive "PROPOULplv".

The results shows, the positive effect of the additive on the safety of chickens, the intensity of their growth, and the productivity of laying quails. The additive was dissolved in drinking water at 4,6,8 g per liter. For research, four groups of quail chickens were formed on the principle of analogs, one control, and three experimental.

Keywords: "PROPOULplv", feed additive, growth intensity, safety, egg productivity, quail.

Introduction. One of the current areas of the genetic potential of quail productivity is the additional use of natural substances in feed additives, which avoids many side effects associated with the negative impact on preservation and productivity. Feed additives of natural substances differ significantly from synthetic ones and are based primarily on activating the body's natural protective reactions, such as "PROPOULplv".

The biological action of this supplement is rapid action and the ability to compete in the selection of nutrients, and its strong attachment to the intestinal epithelium enters the junction and creates an effective barrier to pathogenic microorganisms. It prevents the growth and reproduction of unwanted bacteria and the maintenance of optimal pH, producing lactic acid, thus

positively affecting the functional properties of the bird's body, limiting the use of antibiotics. [1,2,3].

Thus, quail breeding is a responsible business. The main requirements for feed-in quail feeding are high caloric content, the required degree, grinding and balance of metabolic energy, crude protein, essential amino acids, essential minerals, and vitamins. [4,5].

Material and methods of research. The research is based on optimizing the process of feeding quail due to the use of probiotic feed additive "PROPOULplv" on the background of the concentrate mixture. Research and production experiment was conducted in the conditions of LLC "BARCOM" Pustomyty district of Lviv region on four groups of quail chickens, and later adults 100 heads in each according to the scheme shown in (table 1)

Table 1

Scheme of research and production experiment, duration 120 days.

Groups of experimental birds Number of birds in the group, g. Features of feeding

1 (control) 100 BD (basic diet)

2 (experimental) 100 BD + "PROPOULplv"-4g per liter of water

3 (experimental) 100 BD + "PROPOULplv"6g per liter of water

4 (experimental) 100 BD + "PROPOULplv"-8g per liter of water

Analogs formed groups by origin, live weight, and age. Quails were fed dry, nutritionally balanced, crushed concentrated feed three times a day. Access to water was free.

Research results. The research program provided for determining the impact of feed additive

"PROPOULplv" on the dynamics of growth intensity of young quail (Table 2), as well as indicators of egg productivity of chickens (Table 3). Feed additive "PROPOULplv" is made in the form of a powder mixture, which was dissolved in drinking water at a rate of 4,6,8 g / l.

Analysis of the results showed that the highest growth intensity was characterized by chickens of the third and fourth groups in drinking water, which included feed additive 6-8g / l, which confirms our previ-

ous assumptions about its positive effect on the functional characteristics of the intestinal tract of young quail. This is confirmed by visual observations of the development of chickens and the preservation, which was virtually absent in the experimental groups.

According to the productive indicators of adult chickens, a positive effect of the feed additive that the bird consumed with drinking water was revealed. The analysis showed that the experimental groups' number of obtained standard hens exceeded the control. Thus, their percentage was 84.9-85.9 versus 80.6%, respectively. A similar pattern is observed for the average weight of the egg. The yield of egg mass per laying quail during the experiment was 1.53-1.55 kg compared to 1.46 kg in the control group. Thus, the highest indicators of growth intensity and egg productivity are characterized by quails of experimental groups that

consumed a feed additive with drinking water. The best results were obtained at a dose of 6-8 g / l.

Conclusion: Studies conducted to assess the effectiveness of the quail feed additive "PROPOULplv" give reason to discuss its feasibility, and the optimal dose should be considered 8g / l of drinking water.

Prospects for further research. Further research will focus on various scientific studies to study the effect of probiotic feed additive "PROPOULplv" on the functional state of metabolism of nutrients in the body of quail, both egg and meat productivity.
