POSSIBILITIES OF OBTAINING SYNGENITE FROM WASTE OF CHEMICAL PRODUCTION

In our time, the problem of protecting the environment and improving the environment has become one of the common problems of humanity. At the same time, while strengthening our economy, reducing the number of goods imported from abroad, and increasing the number of products sold abroad, at the same time, the products that are in great demand in our country are in our own country, obtaining local raw materials is one of the main problems of us and scientists.
Chemical production in our state of Turkmenistan is growing rapidly. The amount of by-products released from them is several million tons, and these emissions have a harmful effect on the environment. The main part of these emissions is phosphogypsum, which is formed by processing phosphorus-containing raw materials (phosphorite flour) with sulfuric acid. In order to positively solve these problems, relevant work is being carried out in the country. One of the main industrial wastes of the country is phosphogypsum, a waste product formed during the processing of minerals containing phosphorus in the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A. Niyazov.
Important aspects of phosphogypsum processing are devoted to the study of this product based on the acquisition of high-quality building materials and mineral fertilizers.
Phosphogypsum, a waste product of the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S. A. Niyazov, is used as a raw material to study the possibility of obtaining syngenite in scientific work. Syngenite is an uncommon potassium calcium sulfate mineral with formula K2Ca(SO4)2-H2O. It forms as prismatic monoclinic crystals and as encrustations. The phosphogypsum was washed with distilled water, dried and crushed. The conversion process of phosphogypsum by converting it in an 25% ammonia solution with potassium chloride. The resulting solution was filtered. The solid was washed with water and dried in a desiccator. Its chemical composition was studied and the obtained results are reflected in Table 1.
