Design of Diaphragm and Friction Composite Safety Couplings*

Abstract: In order to solve the use of diaphragm coupling when the load is too large will directly lead to coupling damage or even destruction of mechanical equipment. Reference to the sprocket type safety coupling, this paper proposes a diaphragm coupling and friction coupling composite safety coupling design, the coupling will be friction safety coupling and diaphragm coupling composite, so that the friction coupling with overload protection, through a comparative analysis of the safety coupling found that the transfer capacity, and service life have a high performance. At the same time, the coupling structure is simple, the production cost is not significantly increased, can improve the company's economic efficiency, and the design of the composite safety coupling has a certain reference value.
