ABSTRACT

The main idea of working on a project is to apply the skills of students developed in English lessons in practice, to show the degree of proficiency in certain language means. The use of the project work in ELT helps the teacher to focus the students' attention on the practical importance of learning a foreign language Key words: project work, language skills, learning a foreign language

Основная идея работы над проектом - применить на практике навыки студентов, выработанные на уроках английского языка, показать степень владения определенными языковыми средствами. Использование проектной работы в ELT помогает учителю акцентировать внимание студентов на практической важности изучения иностранного языка.

INTRODUCTION

The project work method is easy to use in all types of lessons. This method instantly covers all the students in the classroom and activates them [1]. The fact that the whole topic, part of it or a set of questions to be asked to students on the basis of the selected problem is prepared in advance by the teacher gives a good result in the work.

The design method can take 5-10 minutes depending on the solution to the problem. In this case, the answers of students are not allowed to interfere with the teacher or others, do not express any opinion, and the results are not evaluated, scores are not given. This rule is often controlled automatically by the teacher, i.e. the student quickly corrects his or her reaction to the misconception expressed by the

student. This situation stops students from thinking, undermining the method of mental attack used in the lesson.

Objective: To get the student's own opinion, albeit incorrectly is to achieve expression. After the teacher has summarized, the clear opinions expressed will be known to each student. Students' thinking is guided and encouraged by the teacher. From time to time opinions are generalized.

Once opinions on the solution of the problem are formed, it is finally summarized and a clear opinion is reached. Students then compare their suggestions on their own, understand right and wrong opinions, and evaluate themselves. But the teacher is not allowed to evaluate or reprimand them.

DISCUSSION AND RESULTS

Processes to be carried out by the teacher-trainer on homework and preparation for homework in order to further strengthen the acquired knowledge and develop students' skills of independent work

Procedure:

The task is given to the student in order to further consolidate the acquired knowledge and develop in them the ability to work independently.

In this case:

- The questions should be clear;

- Where to find answers to these questions;

-It is advisable to clearly indicate the literature.

2. The form of performance is also required to be clear:

-preparation of abstracts;

- take notes;

- problem solving;

-development of any event;

-make management decisions and ect.

3. Students need to know in advance why they will be graded. Therefore, it is worth mentioning how their work is evaluated.

The "design" method is a method of gathering free ideas and feedback from learners on a problem and using them to come to a definite solution. There are written and oral forms of the "design" method. In the oral form, each of the learners expresses their opinion orally on the question posed by the educator. Learners state their answers clearly and concisely. In the written form, students write their answers

to the question on paper cards in a short and visible way. The answers are fastened on the board (using magnets) to the "pinboard" board (using needles). In the written form of the "design" method, it is possible to group the answers according to certain characteristics. When used correctly and positively, this method teaches a person to think freely, creatively and non-standardly. Additional exercises in the organization of project work and the use of some new pedagogical technologies during the exercise [7].

The problem question is asked

Thoughts and ideas are remembered and cherished

Thoughts and ideas are memorized and grouped

Clear ideas are selected

1. When using the "design" method, it is possible to involve all learners. In particular, a culture of communication and discussion is formed in learners. In learners, their opinion is only develops the ability to express in writing, not intellectually, the ability to think logically and systematically. Failure to evaluate the opinions expressed leads to the formation of different ideas in learners. This method serves to develop creative thinking in learners. The method of "brainstorming" is carried out by the teacher depending on the purpose:

2. When the goal is to determine the initial knowledge of the learners, this method is implemented in the introductory part of the lesson.

3. Repetition of a topic or linking of one topic to the next topic is done in the transition to a new topic.

4. Reinforcement of the passed topic is carried out in the reinforcement part of the lesson after the topic.

Basic rules for using the "design" method:

1. Opinions expressed are not discussed or evaluated.

2. What ideas are expressed will be taken into account, even if they are not correct.

3. Every student must attend.

Stages of the "design" method:

1. Students are given instructions and asked to give their answers (opinions, ideas and comments) on this instruction.

2. Learners give feedback on the instruction.

3. Students' ideas (from tape recorders, videotapes on colored paper or on the board) are collected.

4. Ideas are grouped according to certain characteristics.

5. The clear and correct answer to the above question is selected. Advantages of the design method

1. Lack of evaluation of results leads to the emergence of different ideas in learners;

2. All learners participate;

3. Ideas are visualized;

4. Students will have the opportunity to assess their basic knowledge;

5. Students become interested in the topic. Disadvantages of the design method:

1. Difficulty of correct instruction by the instructor;

2. Require high hearing ability from the educator.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we can say that the main idea of working on a project is to apply the skills of students developed in English lessons in practice, to show the degree of proficiency in certain language skills. The use of the project work helps the teacher to focus the students' attention on the practical importance of learning a foreign language and increases students' motivation in a foreign language classroom.
