Sport is an essential part of human life and a significant aspect of society's culture. It is not merely a physical activity or competition, but also a cultural phenomenon that influences various aspects of human behavior. Sport is closely connected to social relations and values within a society, shaping the cultural identity of its people.

Sport as a cultural phenomenon plays a multifaceted and multi-functional role. First and foremost, sports have served as a reflection of various cultural and social processes throughout human history. The Olympic Games, for instance, held in ancient Greece, showcased not only physical prowess but also cultural and religious values. These events, since their inception, have become an integral part of cultural heritage.

Secondly, sport plays a significant role in fostering social cooperation and unity within society. Sporting events and competitions bring people together and unite

them around shared goals and values. The connection between sports fans and the volunteering community helps to strengthen social bonds in society, as exemplified by the interactions between football fans and their teams.

The influence of sports on culture is far-reaching. Athletes' achievements shape societal values and fashion trends, and the social media activity and personal style of athletes determine cultural trends in society. This demonstrates the importance of sports as a cultural phenomenon, as well as a physical activity.

Another important aspect of sports as a cultural phenomenon is their integration into the educational process. Physical education classes and sports clubs in schools and universities promote a healthy lifestyle among young people. Sports, as part of the curriculum, contribute to the physical and mental development of young individuals.

Sport, as a cultural phenomenon, plays an important role in society. It helps to strengthen social relations between people and forms values within society, while also contributing to the healthy development of young people. Understanding the significance of sports in our culture and promoting its positive use is essential for the overall development of our society.

The concept of cultural phenomenon is an important theoretical basis for the study of various cultural processes and phenomena of society. This concept is broad and includes various cultural objects, traditions, rituals, works of art and cultural practices. The study of cultural phenomena helps to determine the structure of culture and its place in the life of society.

Cultural phenomena reflect the interactions and relationships between people in society. These interactions and connections lead to the creation and development of cultural phenomena. Pierre Bourdieu, a French sociologist, argued that cultural phenomena act as a means of distributing power and influence within society [1].

Cultural phenomena also represent the historical, social and economic conditions of a certain society. For example, the ancient Egyptians and their cultural phenomena, including the construction of the pyramids and their religious ceremonies, were closely related to their historical and economic conditions. Hall R. John believes that cultural phenomena reveal a person's concepts and attitudes towards the world they create and describe [2].

In addition, cultural phenomena play an essential role in the personal and collective identity of people in society. Various cultural rituals, traditions, and celebrations shape the identity of individuals within a society and their sense of belonging. Schiller stated that "cultural phenomena are a significant tool that determines the cultural identity of individuals" [3].

Cultural phenomena also play a significant role in the dynamic development of society. They help society to accept changes and incorporate new cultural elements into its fabric. In this sense, cultural phenomena act as "agents of innovation and transformation" [4].

Also, the study of cultural phenomena is a major focus of cultural studies. As Edward Taylor, the founder of this field, stated, "cultural phenomena include all aspects of a person's cultural life" [5].

The concept of "cultural phenomenon" is widely used in the fields of cultural studies and sociology to help study various cultural processes and events in society. By examining cultural phenomena, we can

better understand the structure of culture and its role in society. French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu argued that cultural phenomena act as mechanisms for distributing power and influence within society [6].

Cultural phenomena represent the historical, social and economic conditions of a certain society. For example, the ancient Egyptians and their cultural phenomena, including pyramid construction and religious ceremonies, were closely related to their historical and economic circumstances. Hall R. John believes that "cultural phenomena reveal a person's concepts and attitudes towards the world they create and describe" [7].

Also, cultural phenomena play an important role in the personal and collective identity of people in society. Different cultural rituals, traditions, and celebrations shape the identity of individuals and their sense of belonging in a society. According to Schiller, "cultural phenomena are an essential tool that defines the cultural identity of humans" [8].

Cultural phenomena also play a significant role in the dynamic development of society. They help society to accept change and integrate new cultural elements into its fabric. In this way, cultural phenomena can be seen as "drivers of innovation and change" [9].

Sport also belongs to the realm of cultural phenomena and holds an important place in the cultural fabric of society. Sporting activities encompass not only physical activities but also reflect various social and cultural processes within society. John Hoberman, an Oxford scholar, stated that "sport is a significant cultural phenomenon that embodies values and traditions within society" [10].

Sport plays a significant role in strengthening social cooperation and unity within society. Through sports competitions and tournaments, people are united by common goals and values, fostering a sense of camaraderie and cooperation. The relationship between sports fans and the volunteer community further enhances social bonds, such as the interaction and sense of teamwork among football fans, for example.

The influence of sports on society is significant. Athletes and their accomplishments shape societal values and cultural trends. Their social media presence, personal style, and everyday lives influence cultural trends in society, demonstrating the importance of sports as a cultural phenomenon.
