of their origin, of course, after the meaning of the words, its etymology is also indicated in the brackets.
LITERATURE REVIEW AND METHODOLOGY
Not at all, though people sometimes try to make this argument. The word etymology is derived from the Greek word etymon, which means "the true sense of a word." But in fact the original meaning of a word is often different from its contemporary definition.
The meanings of many words have changed over time, and older senses of a word may grow uncommon or disappear entirely from everyday use. Disaster, for instance, no longer means the "evil influence of a star or planet," just as consider no longer means "to observe the stars."
Let's look at another example. Our English word salary is defined by The American Heritage Dictionary as "fixed compensation for services, paid to a person on a regular basis." Its etymology can be traced back 2,000 years to sal, the Latin word for salt. So what's the connection between salt and salary?
The Roman historian Pliny the Elder tells us that "in Rome, a soldier was paid in salt," which back then was widely used as a food preservative. Eventually, this salarium came to signify a stipend paid in any form, usually money. Even today the expression "worth your salt" indicates that you're working hard and earning your salary. However, this doesn't mean that salt is the true definition of salary. .[1]
RESULTS
The history and linguistic features of more than 10 words mentioned in this article. Language plays an important role in understanding identity. The first President of our country I.A.Karimov said in this regard: - We must constantly work to preserve, enrich and enhance the prestige of our mother tongue, which is passed down from our ancestors. In particular, in such important areas as fundamental sciences, modern communication and information technologies, banking and financial system, to expand the use of our native language, to develop the necessary terms and expressions, concepts and categories. There is no doubt that the comprehensive development of the language on a scientific basis will serve the noble goals of understanding the national identity, the sense of homeland. Vocabulary is an important part of language that keeps pace with society and needs to reflect changes in it. Vocabulary reflects changes in language more broadly than in itself. [2]

DISCUSSION
The words we use in our daily lives are full of their wonderful and bright romantics, which have never been composed of boring and meaningless sounds. For example: one of the words that we use a lot in our everyday life, if we look at the etymology of the word phone, then "phone" is derived from two Greek words "tele-long "and "phone - sound" give meanings. In addition, The British mastered the word sugar, that is, the word "sugar" from the French, and the French from the Spanish. The Spaniards came from the Arabs, and the Arabs from Persia. Persian sugar Sou "karkara" - derived from the word "sweets". This can be seen in the fate of the sakkhara Sou in the ancient Indian language: it is sugar (Uzbek, Persian), sheker (Turkish), suker (German), sukor (Ukrainian), sukkar (Arabic), Sakhar (Russian), sakharon (Greek), syukr (French), sugar (English) were the "foundation" for lexemes; this word (etymon) in the ancient Indian language meant "gravel", "large sand", which later, on the basis of which it was transferred by metaphor, meant "sweet-tasting Sandy matter", "Sandy sweetness". having a.
We all have definitely heard about the company's survey. The original meaning of "company" Su came from the old French, "com-with" and "panis-bread" that is, the communities with which you eat bread represent the meaning of the gathering. Dollar Sor -literally means "taler-Valley" when translated. It is worth noting in an additional way: the dollar was first conquered in the 16 - the century in the Valley of Joachim. [3]
January sawdust was named after the Etruscan blacksmith who lived in Rome, whose profession consisted in making locks for doors. after the death of this blacksmith, as the God of the Gentiles, he is described as two-faced which looked at the two sides at the same time, was associated with the doors. Therefore, the end of the first month and the beginning of the second month were called January or Janus. As for January, we recall the blacksmith and his wife, Yana, who lived a thousand years ago. [4]
Have you ever thought about why the month of July is so named? the seventh month was called July in the name of Julius Caesar. Therefore, the emperor Augustus did not want to lag behind him, but called the next month August. They say that at that time the month of August consisted of thirty days. The emperor did not want the name-day of the month named after August to be less than the name of the month in honor of Julius Caesar. For this reason, he adds one day from February to August, and since

then the result of the Great Theft we can see every day in the calendar that is on our table.[5]
Etiman- (yun.: etymon «truth - a word that is based on the origin of a particular lexeme (root or derivative). The form and meaning of the whole word, which performs the function of an etymon, often changes under the influence of various factors, which makes its original "copy" and "meaning" fragmentary, making it difficult to identify and restore them. The same happened in the history of the current potato lexeme: tartufolo (Italian: tartyfolo- "Earth mushroom") was transferred to the German language in the form of a kartofiel, then mastered the Russian language in the form of a kartofel, but Russian peasants began to simplify it and use it as a potato, and to the Uzbek language it also came in such a form, the difference it is used in the style of live colloquial variants. Hence: the word potato in the Uzbek language is the form of an orphan Italian tartufolo soy, and the meaning of an orphan (etymological meaning) is the "Earth mushroom": as is known, the homeland of potatoes is South America. It was there that the indigenous Indians called potatoes potato, by the same name it was brought to Spain in the XVI century, later the potatoes were distributed to other countries of Europe, as a result of which some peoples in Europe put a new name for potatoes: the French called it pom de ter (pommes de terre- as for the "earth apple"), and the Italians called tartufolo ("Earth mushroom"), it is implied that is similar in shape to the mushroom, but unlike the mushroom, it is not on the Earth, but ripens between the soil. . [6] Another word that we pay attention to is another one of the so words that we often find in everyday life to be able to reconcile with is the word "million". In the XIII century, the well-known Italian tourist Marco Polo went to China and for the first time used the word "million" in order to represent the wealth of this country. Alternatively, a million soy does not represent the largest number. If you walk a million steps, then 600 km. you will be walking the road. Not yet a million days have passed since the beginning of our era. Another word is very famous drinking all over the world is café. Cafe lexeme used fist Arabic say that "qahva". [7]
CONCLUSION
From ancient times to the present time, human society has undergone many changes. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the languages used by the peoples in the same row also came to the present appearance that has been formed over the years. In conclusion, it is worth saying that we should be interested in the fact that what we hear and see today does not only know what kind of meaning it actually means, but

also that it has a wonderful history. The etymology of the words included in the article as well as additional information is equally interesting for all.
