GLORIFICATION OF WOMEN IN THE POETRY OF MAGTYMGULY PYRAGY
Abstract
The creativity of our wise poet Magtymguly is an invisible ocean, which contains valuable information about various fields of science. Magtymguly's scientific-philosophical views on roads, countries, and cities also play a key role. Magtymguly never neglected to travel and visit villages. In his poems, he expressed his views about the cities of Khorasan, Khorezm, Rumystan, Merv, Nishapur, Khyrat, Gurgen, which have their origins in ancient times. The rise of patriotism, heroism, courage, high morality, human philosophy in the work of Magtymguly has entered the history as a national-artistic revival of Turkmen literature. In accordance with this, the Poetic World of Magtymguly, leaving the roots in history, today and tomorrow, the spiritual development of people, has a thousand paints. Magtymguly Pyragy, the wise son of the Turkmen people, turned the rich culture, morality, philosophy and the poetic world of our ancestors in the river of poetry and inherited the spiritual building, brightly shining from artistic poetism.

Since ancient times, Turkmen people have been paying a great attention to the upbringing of young generation, to developing their national culture. It can be clearly seen in the historical manuscript sources as well as in the works of classic poets. One of the wise poets who bequeathed to us such educational valuable works is a great master of poetry Magtymguly Pyragy. The brilliant star of the Turkmen classic poetry, Magtymguly
Pyragy's poems devoted to the education of humanity's feelings of patriotism, honesty and loyalty are established in the hearts and minds of our people. In rich folklore and literature of the Turkmen people, the images of women are one of the favourite topics. Women's skillfulness, devotion, loyalty, and beauty are praised in the works created by the poets. In his works about women, Magtymguly Pyragy did not only praise their appearance and beauty, but also highly appreciated their behavior and the importance of their role in the family:
It is difficult a good woman to find, To a woman an ignorant man is not kind, Without a good woman your life is like a grind, Even if you have a power of Solomon.
As we can see from the example above, the poet clearly points out that there is no happy family without a good wife. In Magtymguly's poems, women's virtues such as decency, moral purity, and stability are promoted. It increases the educative value of the poet's poems. The poet skillfully emphasizes that the good behavior of the woman gives her beauty, joy in life, and happiness to her partner. Magtymguly considers the good behavior of a woman is the basis of human happiness. The poet considers the woman is not only as a decoration of the house, but she is also as a man's confidence, a close companion who equally shares his joys sorrows, but in this regard, he fairly evaluates the place of women in life. In his works he emphasizes the importance of respecting the women several times:
There is a beauty, better than all beauties,
You will desire to serve her duties, With a polite, wonderful and kind ladies, You'll want to stay till your last days.
Just as in Magtymguly's works, brave young men are depicted in contrast to cowardly men, in many of his poems dedicated to women which aimed at praising their characters, well-behaved women are shown in contrast to negligent, helpless women. The bad behavior, laziness and pollution of some women are strongly criticized by the poet:
Many girls don't look after their hair, They don't clean cups, about home don't take care Respect of parents is not their affair, To run away from them is your desire.
In his poems the poet says that bad habits of women bring a great harm to a friendly family life, their irresponsible behavior causes to break up the family:
Don't admire her beauty You will feel the sense of pity, If you married a bad wife, Quarrels will fill your life.
Magtymguly Pyragy's poems dedicated to women show their beauty and their characters which form the family relations. The poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy about women occupies the central place in the theme of formation of the family. According to Magtymguly's poetry, the woman is one of the main parts of the family:
The son is the strength of the man's arm, Sweet beloved gives power, like a balm. The man cherishes three dreams on earth: Good sweetheart, good arms and a horse.
