Abstract: a detailed analysis of the requirements for the design of the construction site for the construction of bridges has been carried out. It is concluded that it is necessary to comply with these requirements in order to ensure the technical and environmental safety of construction facilities. Keywords: design, bridge structures, construction site, technical safety.
When choosing the location for the construction site, several factors should be taken into account. These include the terrain and its existing infrastructure, fluctuations in the water level during the construction period, climatic conditions, sources and methods for obtaining bulk materials, width and flow of the river, and accepted working methods.
It is often more cost-effective to locate the site on the riverbank with access roads. However, if a significant amount of work is required on the other side of the river, a temporary site can be established.
The creation of an additional site may be particularly beneficial when concrete aggregates are delivered by river or truck to both banks. It is advisable to establish construction sites on both sides when building large and complex bridges with high traffic volumes. It is recommended to locate the construction site as close as possible to the bridge, but outside the base of the approach ramps and outside the area prone to flooding. There may be structures within the flood zone that would not be affected by flooding [1].
Construction sites must meet the following basic requirements:
-temporary buildings, structures and devices should not be located within permanent structures; the distances of transportation of materials and structural elements should be the smallest; the location of warehouses, landfills, concrete plant should be assigned taking into account the accepted vehicles and conditions of receipt of materials for construction;
-power sources for construction with electricity should be located close to consumers; it is not recommended to place long-term used premises and installations within flooded areas; temporary buildings and structures in flooded areas should be fenced with soil bridges; the location of material warehouses and processing workshops and sites should correspond to the technological sequences of the work performed so that the flows of materials are clearly expressed from the warehouse to the place of installation in the building under construction;
-the offices of the sites should be located closer to the center of the main work; temporary buildings and structures should be located at such a distance so as not to interfere with the construction of the bridge and not clutter the approaches to it;
A residential area is being developed outside the production zone of construction and installation work in accordance with sanitary regulations. The main material warehouse and equipment warehouse are located far away from the main production facilities of the construction site. Buildings and structures on the plan must be separated by fire breaks: at least 20 meters between combustible buildings, 30 meters between combustible buildings and wooden warehouses, and 50 meters between buildings and structures [2].
- The complex for the production of concrete should be located near workshops, garages and metal warehouses. The plan of the construction site includes: the contours of the under-construction bridge (approaches, supports and superstructures), communication routes, storage facilities for crushed stone, sand, cement and timber, as well as fuel and lubricant storage, buildings and structures such as offices, concrete laboratories, boiler rooms, compressor stations, transformer stations or power plants, pumping stations, concrete plants, reinforcement shops, mechanical workshops and carpentry shops, garages, parking areas, a landfill for manufacturing reinforced concrete structures with stands and steam chambers, and communication networks (electricity grid, water supply and steam pipelines). Landfills and sites should be located in such a way that easy access to them from warehouses, as well as from them to the bridge under construction, should be provided; buildings, warehouses and other structures of the following types should be constructed on the construction site: collapsible panel or frame-panel, mobile and container; solutions should be reflected on the construction site, ensuring the safety of the work.
