Extraction of lactic acid itself from lactic acid bakteria is always an actual topic for researchers. Due to their high antibacterial activity, it is very important to extract new strains and get a separate culture from them. In order to identify the type of extracted strains, their cultural, morphological and physiological characteristics are studied. For this, cultural characteristics of lactic acid bakteria strains (BDU-Q7, BDUQ10, BDUP 9, BDU – P13, BDU – Ə20, BDU Ə22, BDU-G17, BDUG19) extracted from different objects (plant surface, lactic acid products) were researched

Extraction of lactic acid itself from lactic acid bakteria is always an actual topic for researchers. Due to their high antibacterial activity, it is very important to extract new strains and get a separate culture from them. In order to identify the type of extracted strains, their cultural, morphological and physiological characteristics are studied. For this, cultural characteristics of lactic acid bakteria strains (BDU-Q7, BDU- Q10, BDU- P 9, BDU - P13, BDU - 020, BDU - 022, BDU-G17, BDU-G19) extracted from different objects (plant surface, lactic acid products) were researched.

While examining different colonies, cultivated in a meat-peptone agar environment, following characteristics of BDU-Q7 lactic acid bacteria strain were found out: the colony colour was of greyish, surface - smooth, growth factor - 32.

BDU-Q10 and BDU-G 19 strain colonies' colour was grey, side colour-whitish, surface-sinuous, sides - amoeba shape, growth factor -25-27. BDU- P9 strain colony's features as follows: colour-greyish, surface -wrinkled, sides form-straight, growth factor - 33. BDU-P 13 and BDU-0 20 strain colonies had the following characteristics: colour-greyish, surface-smooth, sides form - wavy, growth factor - 29-30.

BDU - 022 and BDU - G17 strain colonies' colour was greyish, surface form - wrinkled, sides -straight, growth factor - 42-45.

The investigated strains can be divided into 3 groups according to their cultural characteristics.

The first group embraces BDU-Q7, BDU-P13, BDU-0 20 strains. Their characteristics are: colour -greyish, surface -smooth, sides - wavy, growth factor- 29-32.

The second group includes BDU-Q 10 and BDU-G 19 strains. Their features are as follows: colour - grey, sides - whitish, surface form - sinuous, sides form - amoeba shape, growth factor -25-27.

The third group covers BDU-P9, BDU-022 and BDU-G1 strains with the next attributes: colour-greyish, surface - wrinkled, sides- straight, growth factor -33-45. The above mentioned strains were majority among others for their growth factor.
